Karin Hildegard Pinkepank, 84, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

She was born on September 24, 1941, in Hildesheim, Germany, to the late Herbert and Marie (Gunter) Pagel.

Karin was a homemaker.

In 1995, she married Karl Pinkepank, who preceded her in death in 2000. Karin is survived by step-children Frank (Tracy) Pinkepank of La Porte and Norman (Linda) Pinkepank of La Porte; step-grandchildren Matthew, Erik, and Richard Pinkepank, Brenna Ransburg, and Ryan Basinger.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
