(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Department for Transportation is recruiting winter workers. Seasonal hiring events will take place at various locations on Tuesday, October 6.
INDOT is looking to fill positions for general maintenance and snow and ice removal. A valid CDL is required. The work runs from early November to March and pays $21 an hour. There’s also a $250 sign-on bonus and a possible $500 retention bonus.
La Porte’s INDOT district office at 315 East Boyd Blvd. is one of the locations for Tuesday’s hiring event. It will run from 10 am to 3 pm.
