(La Porte County, IN) - A Westville woman was impaired when she overturned her vehicle near her residence.

 

That’s according to La Porte County Police, who arrested Karley Fink, 33, for operating while intoxicated.

 

Police said Fink was traveling Mary Lane when she hit a parked vehicle Saturday night.  The collision caused her 2026 Chevy Trax to wind up on its roof.  Fink crawled out of the vehicle on her own before emergency responders arrived then became belligerent after they showed up, police said. 

 

When asked if she had consumed any alcohol, police said Fink responded by asking the officer if he had been drinking.

 

She was arrested for exhibiting several symptoms of impairment before refusing to take a certified blood alcohol test, police said.
